Full brand development for a novel Apple Watch accessory — from identity and illustration to app UI and product launch.
Robin Clip is an American consumer tech brand built around a genuinely clever idea: a silicone-and-steel clip case that lets you attach your Apple Watch inside your clothing for discreet, wrist-free wear. Compatible with Apple Watch Series 4 through 11, SE, and Ultra models, it's a simple solution to a problem millions of Apple Watch users didn't know they had.
Created by Florida-based inventor Peter Springer and launched via Kickstarter, receiving a feature on Core77 — one of the most respected industrial design publications in the world. I partnered with the founder to lead comprehensive brand development from the ground up: custom illustrations, motion graphics, app UI, product packaging, and branded merchandise.

Launching a new consumer hardware brand is one of the hardest things to do in product design. In the Apple accessory space, the standard is exceptionally high — consumers are accustomed to a level of design polish that most startups can't match.
Robin Clip needed a brand identity that could establish instant credibility, motion graphics and illustration that could explain a genuinely novel concept quickly, and an app UI that felt native to the iPhone. All of this had to come together around a Kickstarter launch — where the quality of the creative work directly determines whether a product gets funded or disappears.
